January:

Welcome to all Effinians. New management team in place. Best wishes to Mike Kelly (the accountant as oppossed the lad) and his selectors for the forthcoming season. After a miserable championship campaign last year it is hoped from all within the group of players that through a hardworking disciplined approach, a successful campaign is attainable.

Tony Butler has taken on the training of the team and all within the parish wish him well.

We wish continued success to Nicky and Tommy Quaid and Damian Moloney who are currently involved in the inter divisional championship with the south team. The side have been successful in all games so far and  all  three have contributed.

It's early doors in the season with little or no action taking place. We hope to leave results and updates on how our underage teams are faring also, as their exploits are as important as junior affairs.
